ESRC Media Training Dates Announced!

Is your research topic in the news lately? Are you ready to step into the spotlight and have your say? Do you need a little help when it comes to working with the media? The ESRC has your back!

Media TrainingThe ESRC offer their funded researchers a free one-day media training session that provides the opportunity to develop practical media skills in a safe environment including guidance on engaging the media with confidence – and plenty of opportunity to practice.

In small group settings run by journalists, the sessions are full of simulations providing each delegate with expert advice, allowing them to develop their interview technique, explain the findings of their research, and pitch their story.

The course is more beneficial for later stage PhD researchers. SWDTP researcher Hope Christie said that the session was a “great experience” when she attended.
