Secondary analysis of cross-national, comparative survey data webinar
July 7, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Those completing PhD research over the past 16 months may have had to develop new strategies for conducting comparative research because travel to other countries has not been possible.
Led by: Professor Susan Banducci, University of Exeter
In this workshop we will cover one such strategy — secondary analysis of cross-national, comparative survey data. You can write an original, successful PhD thesis using existing cross-national survey data such as the European Social Survey or the World Values Survey. In addition to introducing the wealth of data available across the globe, Professor Susan Banducci will introduce some examples of published research and discuss strategies on how to add value to and gain new insight from these rich data sources.
Format: Webinar followed by a chance to ask questions
This event has been organised by the ESRC funded South West Doctoral Training Partnership but is open to all students (studying at any level), academics and any other colleagues who may find the content useful. However, registration is required.
Please also note that workshop materials will be distributed one week in advance.
