Current Position: I now work as an Associate Research Fellow at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health (University of Exeter Medical School) on a European Commission Horizon 2020 funded research project named ‘BlueHealth’ (www.bluehealth2020.eu) which examines European’s interactions with ‘blue’ spaces (natural environments featuring water) and their effects on health and well-being.

Thesis Title: ‘That would be an ecumenical matter’: Contextualizing the adoption of World Religions Teaching in English RE using ‘Statement Archaeology’, a systematic operationalization of Foucault’s historical methods

Current Position: Since then I spent a year working as a methodological and analytical adviser on a number of education related research projects, and in Sept 2016 I started a three year position as a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on contemporary uses of historical insights, specifically in relation to the policy of compulsory Religious Education in English schools since 1944.
