The University of Bristol School of Education’s Doctoral Conference will be held on June 7th- June 9th. This year’s theme is ‘Imagine, Challenge, Transform: Dialogues in Educational Research’. Registration is now open and it’s free!
“This conference will provide a space to explore and imagine possibilities beyond established assumptions about educational purpose, research and knowledge, to reflect on our work and refresh our aspirations to contribute to transforming education. It will provide a forum for invigorating and thought-provoking dialogues.”
Not only that, but the organisers are looking for presenters to speak at the event. If you’re an SWDTP student, from any institution, at any stage of your education research, you can apply to speak. The deadline has been extended to April 30th. There are 5-minute quick-fire slots and 20-minute presentation slots available and applications covering the following topics are particularly welcome:
• researcher position
• methodological innovation
• challenges to accepted wisdom
• collaboration across boundaries
• overcoming challenges in research
• transforming practice
• imagining possibilities
