Student Mentors
We have a brand new cohort of SWDTP students starting their PhD journey in September and we’re looking for Mentors to help guide them through the first few months. What do you know now that you wish you knew then? What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given during your time at the SWDTP? Well, now you can share your experience and expertise with a new generation of PhD researchers. And did we mention you’d get paid for it too?

TOR Members
The fourth issue of the SWDTP’s Student-Led journal- The Open Review– has been published! You can read or download it here! TOR are looking for new members to join their team as the journal undergoes a re-brand. So, if you’re interested in becoming an editor, a blog coordinator, a peer reviewer or finding out how else you might be involved, register your interest with Rob! This is a great opportunity to take part in putting together a journal. including getting an insight into the peer-review process in a supportive, safe environment.
South West Research Co-Operative Members
Being a member of the South West Research Co-Op can offer a unique insight into the assessment of funding applications which may even benefit your own applications! The Co-Op is searching for new members to help to assess applications for all sorts of interesting collaborative work happening throughout the South West.
