The SWDTP’s Annual Conference is an event for students, by students. It offers researchers an opportunity to present work in a supportive environment of their peers, and to take part in fantastic workshop sessions. It also gives researchers on the Planning Committee experience of organising and running a large-scale conference event, with the support of the SWDTP team.
We’re pleased to open the call for Committee Members for the 2025 conference, due to run in Autumn of this year. The opportunity is open to both SWDTP-funded and non-funded students at our partner institutions.
There are a range of opportunities involved in volunteering for the conference, from curating the programme, to promoting/publicising content, liaising with speakers, and learning how to handle the logistics of running a large event. As a committee, you will decide on themes, speakers, and any extra activities for this popular fixture on the SWDTP calendar.
