Exeter Postgraduate Research Showcase
May 20, 2019 - May 24, 2019
The showcase provides an exciting opportunity to promote the up and coming talent of Exeter’s research base and gives postgraduate
researchers the opportunity to develop their presentation, communication, and impact skills with plenty to get involved with.
There are 3 competitions and a new mini-conference as part of the Showcase:
Our annual Research poster competition is one of the highlights of the University calendar, filling the Forum Street with the leading postgraduate research from across the institution.
Three Minute Thesis Competition
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a National competition for postgraduate research students, challenging doctoral candidates to present a compelling spoken presentation on their research topic and its significance in just three minutes.
As part of the Postgraduate Research Showcase, we are challenging our PGRs to communicate their research to a public audience – in 280 characters.
Understanding and enriching the world we live in: the Postgraduate Society Mini-Conference
Talks will be 20 minutes long with a further 5 minutes allocated to questions. The talk you give can be on any part of your research, which may or may not be part of your research degree.
