

My research aims to break barriers in sustainable food practices within marginalised communities in the south-west of the UK, with a focus on improving representation in community engagement with sustainable food choices. I would like to understand the barriers faced by financially weaker individuals, within Bournemouth, Cardiff and Bristol, and the influence of our food system. Through community led actions, the aim is to empower and engage these communities, ensuring that all strategies are fair, just, and accessible to all. These strategies can be used to shape policy, to encourage larger scale changes to occur within the UK food sector.
