Sightsavers is an international NGO supporting programmes in Africa and Asia on eye health, neglected tropical diseases, inclusive education and social inclusion. We do research to ensure our programmes are effective and to address global knowledge gaps, so that sound evidence is available to decision-makers and practitioners. Our evidence uptake and learning (EUL) team supports this process and ensures that research evidence is easy to find, understand and use.
We would like to connect with South West DTP students interested in evidence synthesis, research summary writing, and the development of innovative research communication tools. You will work with our EUL team to create engaging user friendly evidence products and to make sure our research has a real impact on lives. We are looking for someone who is passionate about international development and has good writing and creative thinking skills. In turn, we will offer you an opportunity to be part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team and learn more about our programmes, research and influencing work.
This is an ongoing opportunity with no set application deadline.
